COMPOSITION: Each ml contains 100mg of
Oxytetracycline as Oxytetracycline
Hydrochloride.
INDICATIONS: For the treatment of
tick-borne diseases such as heartwater,
gallsickness and anaplasmosis in cattle,
sheep and goats.
For the treatment of diseases caused by
sensitive bacteria such as pneumonia, foot
rot, joint-ill and navel ill in livestock (cattle,
pigs, sheep and goats).
CONTRAINDICATIONS: DO NOT USE IN
DOGS. Do not use in sheep producing milk for
human consumption. Do not use in animals
with known hypersensitivity to the active
ingredient. FiVox 10% should not be
administered to animals with a seriously
impaired renal and/or hepatic function. Do
not combine with bactericidal antimicrobial
products.
ADMINISTRATION: Deep intramuscular
injection and intravenous administration
under veterinarian supervision.
DOSAGE: Inject 1 ml of FiVox 10% per 10 kg
body mass by subcutaneous, intramuscular
and intravenous routes.
Do not administer more than 20 ml in cattle,
more than 10 ml in swine and more than 5 ml
in calves and sheep per injection site.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: Meat: 14 days
Milk: 7 days
STORAGE: Store below 30°C. Protect from
light. The preparation may darken during use
but potency of the FiVox 10% remains
unaffected.
PRESENTATION: 100ml.
SHELF LIFE: 3 years.
WARNINGS: Wash hands after use.
Although this remedy has been extensively
tested under a large variety of conditions,
failure thereof may ensue as a result of a
wide range of use. If this is suspected, seek
veterinary advice and notify the registration
holder.
